Three Quick and Easy Dessert Recipes For Kids

Dessert is often the favorite part of any kid’s dinner. The sweet treat can be a reward after ensuring your little ones finish their meal and eat all of their vegetables. However, being a busy parent it can often be tricky to think of Dessert recipes that are simple and affordable. We reveal three quick and easy dessert recipes for kids that you can make at home in no time.

Cereal and Milk Popsicle:-

This delicious treat is easy to make, great for the warm summer months, plus it requires no slaving over a hot stove.

You Will Need:

  • 2 Cups of Milk.
    • 1 Cup of Cream.
    • 1/4 Cup of Condensed Milk.
    • 2 Tbsp. Brown Sugar.
    • A Pinch of Salt.
    • 1 Cup of Fruit Loops.

Simply combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and make sure you stir it so that all the fruit loops are properly covered. Take out your Popsicle molds and pour the mixture into each of the molds, leaving a little gap at the top so that they won’t overflow when you put your Popsicle stick in. Let the mixture freeze for around 10 minutes and then voila, your fruit loop Popsicle are ready to be enjoyed.

Fruit Chia Pot:-

If you are looking for something more healthy then you can try these delicious fruit chia pot puddings. Chia is a super-food which boats a number of health benefits, while fruit will help your little ones to intake more nutrients and vitamins.

You Will Need:

  • Coconut Milk.
    • Chia Seeds.
    • Fruit of Your Choice (berries work well).

Measure out a couple of tablespoons of chia seeds into a small glass pot and then top with some of the coconut milk. Give the mixture a stir to make sure that it is all combined properly. You can then top you yummy chia pot with fruit of your choosing. The great thing about this recipe is that it will last for up to three days, plus the chia seeds will start to absorb the coconut milk, which makes the Dessert even more creamy and delicious!

Avocado Chocolate Mousse:-

This delectable Dessert is so incredibly rich and thick. Your kids will assume that is packed full of cream, butter, and sugar, when in fact it is dairy-free and made up of healthy ingredients, including avocado. Avocados play an important role in nutrition as they have so many minerals and vitamins, as well as healthy fats which are important for the development of your child.

You will need:

  • 2 Large Avocados.
    • 1/4 Cup of Cocoa Powder.
    • 3 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup.
    • 1/3 Cup of Coconut Milk.
    • Grated Chocolate to Serve.

Scoop the flesh from the avocados into your food processor and combine with the maple syrup, cocoa powder and coconut milk. Process for 15 seconds; scrape the edges of the processor and then blend for another 15 seconds to make sure the mixture is smooth. Spoon the mixture into pots and top with some grated dark chocolate and pop into the fridge for ten minutes to set.
